CHRISTMAS TREE EXTRAVAGANZA 2011

Masterminded by our Verger, Jenny Onions, we are very grateful to all those who made this community event possible - the sponsors of the trees, Mike Harris who supplied the trees, those who erected and decorated the trees, those who gave raffle and other prizes, those who cleaned up, acted as stewards, manned the catering outlet, and provided loads of home made produce and products to sell, and all those who manned the stalls - for 19 hours! And all those who helped clear up afterwards. Those who produced the publicity material so that the community knew about the event. And, finally, to all those who supported the event by visiting us and contributing so generously..
At the time of writing over £1,300 has been raised for Church funds - so that the Church can continue to play its role in the community, and maintain the fabric of both the Church and the Old School Community Hall.
